On average, there are more than 25,000 hits on our city website. And, in looking at those numbers more closely, we found that over a quarter of those hits were from a mobile device. That is 1 in every 4 people!
Based on industry studies, mobile devices have surpassed PC’s as the primary means of accessing the internet. In fact, over 80% of all smartphone users spend their time using apps as a way to get information at their finger tips. From social networking to Traffic Alerts, there is an app for just about everything. And now, as we continue to seek innovative ways to connect with our community, there is an app for that too!
The Rochester Hills App will make it more convenient for the city to connect with our residents and for our residents to stay connected with us! The app will feature everything from news and events to allowing users to report a concern instantly.
